Fast Track Programme

Three weeks in-country. For teachers who already hold a recognised TEFL certificate and want practical classroom time before they start.

3 Weeks · $825 · Siem Reap, Cambodia

Already certified. Not yet confident.

A recognised TEFL certificate is the entry requirement for most teaching jobs. What it doesn't always give you is real classroom experience — the reps that build actual confidence.

The Fast Track Programme is designed for candidates who have completed a recognised 120-hour TEFL or TESOL course and want structured, observed practice before they start applying for positions. You join The Classroom Apprenticeship cohort in week 2 and graduate alongside them.

"You come in with theory. You leave with practice. That's what schools are hiring for."

What three weeks actually looks like

The Fast Track is split into two phases. The first week gives you focused trainer input alongside the 4-week cohort. In weeks two and three, you're teaching — observed, with structured feedback throughout.

Week 1

Trainer input

  • 10 pre-arrival brain breaks (completed before you arrive)
  • Two video submissions before arrival — vocabulary drilling and dialogue drilling
  • 2 in-country brain breaks in week 1
  • 3–4 role-plays with trainer feedback
  • 1 dry run lesson before moving to real students
Weeks 2–3

Observed teaching practice

  • 6 teaching practicums with real Cambodian students
  • All practicums observed and logged with written feedback
  • You join The Classroom Apprenticeship cohort in week 2 and graduate alongside them

Who qualifies

The Fast Track is not open entry. Your existing TEFL certificate must meet the minimum standard before we can accept your application.

Certificates that do not qualify: Universal TEFL and Teacher Record certificates are not accepted on the Fast Track Programme. If you hold one of these, you would need to complete the full 4-week Classroom Apprenticeship instead. We'll tell you this upfront — it's not something we raise after you've paid.
